A day after sites showed dislike for possible legislation concerning the internet, a major file host has went down thanks to stuff you're probably hearing about on the news or Engadget with the whole file sharing crackdown by the powers-that-be. Well we have good news to share, we're now seeing record number of visitors & hits this month. Actually it's been almost every month this year with one month out doing the other. But this month it's special since we've passed the 100k site view mark to go with the record +35k visitor mark and 3000 returning visitors plateau for the month of September. It's been awhile since last posting but back into the swing of things so far. At least this site is now clean from all links of the former redirect service that stopped working for us back in May (yes, it was a very painful process to flip all posts into working self-served redirects but worth it) and so now all focus will be pushed forth on new great stuff that'll include some of our favorite jawns along with new faces, and a schedule that'll have us eventually do at least a post every two days (cross your fingers). As of the past week we started flipping over our u***c**h links (edited 8/9/09: gotten rid of those pesky links so censoring mention of this cursed word) into our own framed image ads so we can start churning out more of the ad revenue to ensure that this site continues to run nicely enough. Oddly enough as of this posting & edit u***c**h seems to be down for the moment so we're left asking the same thing you folks are asking - "What the hell is going on?" We surely need them back since 99% of our stuff still links through them and we'll need them to continue flipping the old links accurately & easily into new ones (plus they still provide a good chunk of the funding of running this site so nothing is out of pocket). Please come back soon u***c**h! (edit: doesn't matter anymore hahaha)
